Agricultural Club Holds
Regular Meeting
Friday night at eight o'clock the
Agricultural club met in the audito
rium of the Agricultural Hall, lie-
cause of the lecture to be delivered,
the reading of the minutes and other
business was suspended for this ses
sion.
The club was fortunate in securing
Dr. I.. 11. Hardman, of Commerce, ns
the speaker for the evening, He
gave an interesting and Instructive
discussion of the history, production
and consumption of rice. The dis
cussion of production dealt especially
with conditions existing in Xurth
Georgia, where Dr. Hardman has had
considerable experience with the
growing of this cereal.
The members of the club and the
members of the faculty who were
present, showed their appreciation by
a unanimous rising vote of thanks.
